BACKGROUND

EDUCATION

My name is Em, I am a multidisciplinary artist based on Gadigal land in Sydney’s inner west. I work across the intersections of digital illustration, painting, graphic storytelling, screenprinting and environmental graphics.

Through my work I explore themes of joy, sadness, the body and mental health. Recently my work has skewed towards depictions of femme figures unapologetically lounging.

After a number of years working in design while making art and selling products on the side, in 2023 I have committed to transitioning to focusing on my art practice full time.
